Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between page loads — for example which language you selected, or the privacy choice you made. Similar technologies such as local storage and embedded third-party players work in comparable ways, and this policy covers them too.
This table lists every cookie and embedded technology used by the GuardHound foreign-language sites. It is kept in step with what the production site actually loads; nothing that GuardHound does not use is listed here.
You are asked for a choice the first time you open one of our pages, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the Cookie Settings button that stays available at the bottom of every page. In the Privacy Preference Center you can accept all categories, reject every non-essential category, or switch Analytics, Marketing and Functional cookies on and off individually. Necessary cookies cannot be switched off because the site does not work without them. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
Some pages contain content hosted by third parties — embedded YouTube videos on the video page and an embedded Google Map on the contact page. On our pages these are held behind a placeholder and are only loaded after you allow Functional cookies in Cookie Settings. Once loaded, the provider may set its own cookies or record your activity under its own privacy policy; we do not control those cookies.
Your choice is stored on your own device for 180 days, after which we ask you again. This retention period is a GuardHound implementation choice, not a legal requirement. You can clear it at any time by withdrawing your consent in Cookie Settings.
For how we handle personal information more broadly, see our Privacy Policy. Questions about this policy can be sent to nwangnan65@gmail.com.
